Public space

This entry continues the Public space strand of the festival, in which works are shown in the streets, squares and courtyards of Wroclaw instead of in galleries or halls.

The strand is spread over several days and several districts, so that it is not confined to the centre. Sites away from the Market Square bring a different audience — people who live there and would not otherwise come to a festival event.

As in the rest of the strand, the works are made for the place they occupy. Where a piece stays up for more than one day, it can be seen at any time; where it is a one-off action, the hour given in the programme is the whole of it.
